Join us for a tour to Korcula – the spectacular island with eventful history and breathtaking nature. Because of its historic architecture, Korcula is sometimes referred to as Little Dubrovnik.
People have been living in Korcula most likely since the prehistoric times. This place has many antiquated buildings and monuments, which have witnessed countless historical events. And on top of that, Korcula is considered to be the birthplace of Marco Polo – a famous explorer, who has visited China.
We will leave Dubrovnik and drive to Orebic on the Peljesac peninsula, From there, we will cross the sea on a boat to get to the town of Korcula. On our way to Orebic, we will make a stop in Ston – a delightful old town, which ius renowned for its spectacular city walls, which are called the „European wall of China”.You will also be able to see the oldest salt mine in Europe, where the ancient methods of producing salt have survived to our times. While going back to Dubrovnik, we will also stop in a local winery to taste some excellent wines.
