Day 1 : Zagreb
Arrival at Zagreb Airport. Hotel accommodation and overnight.
Day 2 : Zagreb – Opatija
We start our day from a wholesome breakfast. Next we will go on a guided tour in Croatia’s largest city. Zagreb will surely delight you with its charm. The city has baroque facades and towers, green parks and open-air terraces. In the afternoon take a pleasure ride to the Opatija, the seaside resort town gracing the shores of Kvarner Bay. Go back in time and feel your own skin splendor of the 19th century. Our overnight stay will take place in Opatija.
Day 3 : Opatija
This place is the perfect point to start our tour, because from there we will be able to discover Croatia’s largest peninsula. On our tour we will see Croatian Tuscany – Istria, a place famous for tasty bits like truffles, wines and olive oils. On our route we also explore the Roman amphitheater in Pula, mysterious and at the same time mystic Motovun and at least charming Rovinj. After an eventful day we spent our afternoon in elegant Opatija.
Day 4 : Opatija – National Park Plitvice Lakes – Split
Our first target on this day will be Croatia’s most popular natural gem, the Plitvice Lakes. A guided walk along the wooden pathways unhide an amazing world replete by 16 cascading lakes entwined with over 90 stunning waterfalls. This view for sure proves you unforgettable memories in every season. On our tour to the Split we will take a break in Trogir, a place which is on the UNESCO-listed World Heritage site. A bundle of narrow atmospheric streets which twist and bend between houses, palaces and churches, the heritage of Trogir is rooted in the Greek and Roman times. Why is it so important? Well, these are some of the most beautiful and best-preserved Renaissance architectural works in Croatia. To these magnificent gems we also include Cathedral, the Town Loggia and the Cipiko palace, which we will be able to explore. Arrival to Split and overnight there.
Day 5 : Split – Hvar
After breakfast we will set off on a walking trip around Split. At first we will visit Dalmatia’s largest coastal town, which became more and more popular among tourists. All because of tasty cuisine, plenty of various shops and remarkable heritage. There we learn about Diocletian’s Palace, once the Roman Emperor’s retirement estate and today a lively city center. Finally we provide you an enjoyable cruise from Split to the neighboring island of Hvar where you will spend the night at a hotel in the glitzy town of Hvar.
Day 6 : Hvar
This beautiful island is well known for its purple lavender fields. But this is not the end, there you have an opportunity to try traditional potent red wines and survey how to make local olive oil. Moreover, Hvar is known as the sunniest island in Croatia. This place, full of glitzy jet-set scenery and starlit waterfronts attracts many tourists. During our morning tour you will sightsee the island’s prime gem and its most popular destinations of Hvar. Furthermore Hvar is home of the oldest European theater and organized tourism in Croatia. Heritage of this place extends far beyond the popular party scene! Enjoy the rest of the day for your own pleasures and spend the night in a hotel in Hvar.
Day 7 : Hvar – Korčula
First on our schedule will be a tasty breakfast and some time on your own. This beautiful place is famous for various attractions like the waterfront of Jelsa, the bridges of Vrboska and vineyards of Ivan Dolac, so prepare yourself for amazing memories. In the afternoon go on a cruise to the neighboring island of Korčula, where we also will have a sleepover.
Day 8 : Korčula – Dubrovnik
Korčula used to be Venetian stronghold, that is why you will see so many lion statues which lurk at you from the town’s facades and gates. Moreover, admire the magnificent Adriatic with its fantastic imagery stringed together by the mesmerizing shades of blue sea. Explore narrow streets, historical, charming churches and magnificent palaces in one of the best preserved medieval towns in the Mediterranean. What other attractions await you on this day? One of them is a cruise on the afternoon sea to Dubrovnik. You can’t miss it !
Day 9 : Dubrovnik
Our tour starts in the late afternoon, so you can devote the morning to your own pleasure. Firstly on our schedule will be a guided tour around Dubrovnik Old Town – the Pearl of the Adriatic or the King’s Landing. Whatever you might consider to be the town’s main beauty spot, the forceful city walls of Dubrovnik and spirit of the city take you back to the times when this city was an independent republic with highly cultured Mediterranean towns. After delving into the history of this beautiful place you will have an afternoon for your own expedition.
Day 10 : Dubrovnik
This admirable city, which is surrounded by an equally picturesque panorama is a source of delight for many tourists. Spend this day on your own and see what you want in this beautiful place. Or maybe you prefer to spend the day relaxing and trying local dishes. It’s all up to you. Promising a day of heavenly serenity. If you are the type of traveler Lokrum will surely delight you. Its green forests filled by holmes oaks, pines and laurels for sure will captivate you with their beauty. What is more, with a little luck you can meet permanent inhabitants: peacocks and bunnies. Just a bit further away the Elaphite Archipelago will delight you with beautiful sandy beaches, memorable cultural heritage and beautiful hiking paths. After a busy day, enjoy your sleepover in a comfortable hotel.
Day 11 : Dubrovnik
On our last day in Dubrovnik, after a tasty meal we will set off towards the airport, where our tour ends.
